It takes an enormous amount of faith to believe that Taylor’s short life of sixteen years was a gift. Some people horrifyingly ask me, “Would it have been better if Taylor never lived?” I adamantly respond, “No, it would not have been better.” We shared a love that will last forever and a more precious bond than I could have ever imagined.

We were given the miracle of Taylor’s birth. We just didn’t know the terms of our gift. We didn’t know her life would be a novelette rather than a novel, but the joy of Taylor fills volumes.
