As a result  the support and endorsements of over 200 pediatric cancer advocacy groups, Members of Congress are seriously considering introduction of the RACE (Research to Accelerate Cures and Equity for Children) Act  in the next few weeks.

The RACE for Children Act would require a company to study cancer drugs in children if the molecular target of the drug being developed is relevant to one or more pediatric cancers.

The RACE for Children Act would be a game changer. It would result in dramatically increased access by children with cancer to promising investigational cancer drugs.
