Susan Wolfert

Susan is a freelance writer, journalist, and editor who joined the Taylor Matthews Foundation in 2010 following years of covering Taylor’s journey for her local newspaper in Westchester. Susan has written news and feature articles for Mission Magazine, Barron’s, Westchester Magazine, the Scarsdale Inquirer, and the Rivertowns Enterprise, among others. She also writes speeches, Web and Twitter content, blogs, and advertorials for various private, public, and not-for-profit organizations.

A graduate of Vassar College and the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, Susan was a Vice President at the Chase Manhattan Bank prior to beginning her writing practice.

In addition to her board service with the Taylor Matthews Foundation, Susan volunteers as a college coach for underprivileged high school students with Yonkers Partners in Education. She was previously the Vice President of the Greenburgh Public Library board of trustees for five years.

A lifelong New Yorker, Susan is married and has two grown sons.
