Sarah Courtney
As a board member and in Taylor’s honor, Sarah hopes to rally and raise funds to provide life-saving medical care to children diagnosed with cancer.
Sarah is a Vice President in Global Markets and Banking Public Compliance at Goldman Sachs, responsible for advising business personnel on how to conduct the firm’s business in a manner that complies with rules, regulations, and regulatory expectations, as well as internal policies, procedures, and controls.
Sarah serves as co-head of the GS LGBTQ+ Network’s Community Engagement Pillar, where she works to carve out GS as name brand LGBTQ+ community leader through external partnerships with supporting non-profit organizations.
Previously, Sarah worked in nonprofit development, where she educated legislators on the importance of accessible education and formed relationships with key benefactors and donors.
Sarah earned a B.A. in Anthropology from Bryn Mawr College in 2011. She earned a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and an LL.M. from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid, Spain, in 2018.
Off duty, you can find Sarah Courtney on the field hockey pitch, fiddling around with her violin, and dancing to Kylie Minogue with her Boston Huahua, Frida Kahlo.
