Susan Wolfert

Susan is a freelance writer, editor, and journalist who joined.  The Taylor Matthews Foundation family following years of covering Taylor’s journey for her local newspaper in Westchester. Susan has written news and feature articles for Barron’s, Westchester Magazine, the Scarsdale Inquirer, and the Rivertowns Enterprise, among others. She also writes speeches, Web and Twitter content, blogs, and advertorials for various private, public, and not-for-profit organizations.

A graduate of Vassar College and the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, Susan was a Vice President at the then Chase Manhattan Bank in the area of real estate investment banking prior to beginning her writing practice.

In addition to her board service for The Taylor Matthews Foundation, Susan volunteers as an admissions interviewer at New York Medical College, a writing coach at the Yonkers Partners In Education, and served as Vice President of the Greenburgh Public Library board of trustees for five years.

A lifelong New Yorker, Susan is married and has two grown sons.
